Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D initiatives
- Partner with product teams to translate strategic insights into actionable development plans
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product development, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching technology products with $10M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and cross-team alignment
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic frameworks or technology assessments
