Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial application
- Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities through competitive intelligence and market scanning
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms and innovation labs
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation
