Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional labs to prototype next-gen solutions (AR metaverse, autonomous systems)
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic papers to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire emerging startups
- Author thought leadership whitepapers for industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record launching products with 10M+ users or $100M+ revenue
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published author or keynote speaker at tech conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFSF, APF)
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech transitions
