As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, startup incubators, and Fortune 500 partners to develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps. Your work will directly influence $2B+ in R&D investments and shape industry standards for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology foresight frameworks to identify disruptive innovations with 3-7 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum machine learning and biocompatible hardware
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for emerging tech policy advocacy
- Conduct scenario planning for technological singularity readiness and ethical AI governance
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital investors
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio for 2026-focused initiatives including decentralized identity systems
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence and human augmentation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful launch of 3+ future-focused products with >$50M ARR
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE on technology forecasting or innovation management
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Foresight from leading institutions
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, ISO 42001)
