- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and evaluate external technology partners, startups, and research institutions for acquisition or collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor senior engineering leads and collaborate with product, sales, and executive teams to align technical vision with market demands.
- Prototype & Innovate: Spearhead internal hackathons and innovation labs to explore novel applications of existing and emerging tech stacks.
- Resource Allocation: Manage budgets for experimental projects and ensure optimal utilization of R&D talent.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical leadership, product management, or R&D within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in AI/ML, Distributed Systems, or Quantum Computing concepts.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think long-term (5-10 year horizon) while delivering immediate tactical results.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated success in navigating ambiguity and leading through periods of rapid technological change.
