Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Partner with engineering teams to translate future visions into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR) and adoption curves
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external partners
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies required
- Experience in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem preferred
