Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for Horizon Systems, specifically targeting breakthroughs relevant to the 2026 era.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant AI architectures that integrate seamlessly with legacy systems and future-proof protocols.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AGI, Quantum ML) to determine their viability for immediate deployment.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and business units to translate complex futuristic concepts into actionable engineering strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the deployment of high-performance models, ensuring low latency and high throughput in production environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 3 years in a Lead Architect or Principal Engineer role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven track record of identifying emerging trends and implementing them successfully.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects from conception to delivery.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
