We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Technology Strategy (2026) to architect our roadmap for the year 2026 and the decades beyond. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in identifying, evaluating, and integrating breakthrough technologies that will define the next generation of our business. You will work closely with executive leadership to align technological innovation with long-term corporate goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and strategists to prototype and validate emerging technologies.
- Conduct deep-dive research into AI, Quantum Computing, and biotechnology to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Manage the R&D budget and ensure capital efficiency in innovation projects.
- Establish partnerships with key technology vendors and research institutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the board.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies to accelerate time-to-market for new features.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategy, or product development.
- Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives and delivering tangible business results.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Edge Computing.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
