Responsibilities
- Horizon Scanning: Conduct rigorous analysis of emerging tech trends relevant to the 2026-2030 timeframe, evaluating viability and market impact.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps that align long-term innovation goals with business objectives and fiscal constraints.
- Prototype Development: Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams to prototype high-potential concepts, from initial concept to MVP.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical strategies to executive leadership and secure buy-in for high-risk, high-reward projects.
- Partnerships: Identify and forge strategic alliances with academic institutions, startups, and research bodies focused on next-gen technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in Technology Strategy, R&D Management, or Executive Consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, and Synthetic Biology.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to anticipate market shifts and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical data into clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
