Job Description
We are on the precipice of a technological revolution, and Nexus Horizons is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Strategist to define our roadmap for the year 2026 and beyond. This is not a typical engineering role; it is a strategic leadership position focused on forecasting emerging trends, assessing their impact on our infrastructure, and architecting the solutions that will define our industry for the next decade.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between abstract innovation and practical business application. You will work closely with the C-suite to ensure our technology stack is future-proof, scalable, and positioned to capitalize on the rapid evolution of AI, quantum computing, and edge networks.
Join us in building the future of connectivity and data processing.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive Technology Strategy for the 2026 fiscal year and beyond.
- Lead R&D initiatives focused on emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, Edge Computing) and assess their viability for enterprise integration.
- Collaborate with product and business units to translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints.
- Mentor senior engineering leadership teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate technological risks associated with long-term infrastructure investments.
- Monitor global tech trends and competitor innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or technology consulting.
- 10+ years of experience in senior leadership or executive management roles (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Strategist).
- Deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum Computing.
- Proven track record of successfully leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
