Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum-enhanced neural networks for 2026-era applications
- Develop novel algorithms for explainable AI and bias mitigation frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype production-ready AI solutions
- Author high-impact publications for top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish breakthrough findings in Nature AI
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for regulatory compliance by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing production ML systems with PyTorch/TensorFlow
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in AI/quantum research
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Strong background in AI ethics and algorithmic fairness
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Dask)
- Deep knowledge of transformer architectures and diffusion models
