Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid AI-quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using cloud-native platforms
- Develop novel neural network architectures optimized for quantum hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and quantum circuit design
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and GPU acceleration
- Publication record in top-tier venues (Nature, NeurIPS, QIP)
- Strong background in computational complexity theory or quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable experimental prototypes
