Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development and AI model optimization for 2026-era applications
- Direct interdisciplinary research teams comprising physicists, computer scientists, and domain experts
- Architect scalable quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Translate theoretical models into patentable commercial solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error correction, and NISQ-era systems
- Mastery of Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated success securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers across multiple disciplines
- Knowledge of emerging tech trends post-2025 landscape
