Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year AI innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in building generative AI systems for autonomous decision-making
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Author white papers on future AI trends for industry conferences and publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML) or futurism journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing architectures
- Proven track record of scaling AI initiatives from concept to enterprise deployment
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Experience securing federal/state grants for advanced R&D projects
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two patented AI innovations
