Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for emerging technology adoption curves (2026-2030)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in generative AI and quantum machine learning
- Author strategic white papers on ethical AI governance and human-AI symbiosis
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech roadmaps into business strategy
- Represent Nexus at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers in speculative technology prototyping
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation grants from public/private entities
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/AI with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on machine learning or quantum computing
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating speculative tech projects (e.g., AI ethics frameworks, neuro interfaces)
- Security clearance eligibility for government partnerships
