Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and machine learning models
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for high-impact AI deployments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into product development lifecycle
- Create stakeholder engagement protocols for ethical AI transparency initiatives
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and establish industry best practices
- Monitor evolving AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and ensure compliance
- Design user-centric explainability methods for complex AI decision systems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy
- Deep understanding of machine learning systems and algorithmic bias mitigation
- Proven track record of developing ethical frameworks for real-world AI applications
- Strong technical writing skills for creating ethics documentation and guidelines
- Familiarity with global AI regulatory landscape and compliance requirements
- Experience facilitating stakeholder dialogues on ethical technology adoption
- Publication record in ethics/tech journals or conference presentations
