Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for advanced AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on machine learning models
- Develop novel approaches for explainable AI (XAI) and interpretability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into production systems
- Publish research in top-tier AI ethics and machine learning conferences
- Advise product teams on responsible AI deployment strategies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to establish industry-wide ethical standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years researching AI ethics, bias mitigation, or fairness in ML
- Expertise in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and experimental design
- Published work in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and technical communication
