Responsibilities
- Design and implement bias mitigation protocols for generative AI models
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for quantum computing applications
- Lead stakeholder workshops with policymakers and industry regulators
- Author white papers on AI existential risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for ethical AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Establish audit protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Mentor junior researchers in philosophy of technology and ethical AI principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years researching AI ethics or responsible AI implementation
- Published work in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, FAccT, ACM FAccT)
- Expertise in algorithmic bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies (NIST, IEEE, EU AI Act)
- Strong background in quantum computing or neuromorphic systems
- Proficient in Python for ethics auditing tool development
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
