Responsibilities
- Design and enforce ethical governance frameworks for AI development lifecycle
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models
- Develop company-wide AI ethics training programs and policies
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry coalitions and regulatory discussions
- Lead incident response for ethical breaches in AI systems
- Partner with engineering teams to implement ethical-by-design principles
- Monitor emerging AI ethics research and regulatory trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI roles
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience conducting bias audits in ML systems
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., CDEP, CDPSE)
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics
