Join our cross-functional team of visionaries pioneering responsible AI deployment in autonomous systems and predictive analytics. Lead audits of machine learning models, develop bias mitigation protocols, and collaborate with engineers to embed ethical safeguards from design through deployment. This role reports directly to our Chief Technology Officer and will influence industry standards through our open-source ethics toolkit.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026 product releases
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines
- Develop corporate policies for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Lead stakeholder workshops with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Author technical documentation on AI transparency and accountability measures
- Represent Nexus at industry ethics forums and contribute to open-source standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Expertise in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in production systems
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning and neural network architectures
- Certification in Responsible AI (e.g., Stanford HAI or MIT Professional Education)
- Experience collaborating with legal/compliance teams on AI risk mitigation
