Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies, governance frameworks, and compliance protocols
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI systems using statistical analysis tools
- Lead stakeholder engagement with policymakers, researchers, and industry partners on AI ethics
- Design transparency mechanisms for AI decision-making processes
- Create educational materials and training programs for internal teams on responsible AI
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and adapt governance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn)
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration in tech environments
