In this position, you'll develop comprehensive governance policies, conduct ethical impact assessments, and lead cross-functional initiatives to embed responsible AI practices across our product lifecycle. You'll collaborate with engineers, policymakers, and industry leaders to establish benchmarks for AI transparency, fairness, and accountability in 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for 2026 product roadmaps
- Lead ethical risk assessments for AI systems using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Develop bias mitigation strategies for large-scale AI models and data pipelines
- Coordinate with engineering teams to embed privacy-by-design principles in AI solutions
- Create transparency mechanisms for AI decision-making processes
- Represent the organization in AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI deployment practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field
- 8+ years in AI governance, ethics, or compliance with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO 42001)
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI programs in production environments
- Strong background in machine learning model auditing and bias detection
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification, Google ML Ethics)
- Experience presenting complex ethical concepts to executive leadership
