Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for 2026 autonomous systems deployment
- Lead cross-functional governance committees including engineers, ethicists, and legal experts
- Develop audit protocols for bias mitigation in generative AI models
- Shape regulatory strategy for emerging AI legislation at federal and state levels
- Create transparency standards for AI decision-making processes
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical by design principles
- Present governance frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record implementing AI ethics frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and ISO/IEC 42001 standards
- Deep understanding of generative AI risks including bias amplification and existential threats
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences
- Certification in AI Governance (e.g., CEGAI) preferred
