Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse integration) targeting 2026 adoption horizons
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging nanotechnology, biotech, and advanced AI systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of global tech ecosystems
- Design scalable architectures for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and Web3.0 infrastructure
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders on emerging tech impacts
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on next-gen research partnerships
- Drive patent development in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies with published research in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI alignment)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent futurist accreditation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of 2020+ technology roadmaps
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA research programs or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and superintelligence
