Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with disruptive potential (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product development plans
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for business strategy
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futuristic thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or space tech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
