Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on disruptive trends and competitive technology landscapes
- Present future-state scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
- Design frameworks for ethical technology implementation and responsible innovation
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions and implementing future-oriented solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
