Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ societal and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and autonomous technologies
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic technologies into enterprise strategy
- Present visionary concepts to investors, governments, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes impacting 2026+ deployments
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Academy' incubator program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 10-year foresight accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Research, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction/implementation of transformative technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, AGI, nanotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Credibility with global tech councils and published thought leadership in futurism
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets for experimental initiatives
