Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 5-10 year business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable innovation initiatives
- Conduct scenario planning workshops for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future tech trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-relevant solutions
- Represent company at global tech foresight conferences and summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or futurist research
- Proven expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, or neuromorphic systems
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation communities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
