Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to develop and prototype 2026-era technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and geopolitical factors to create 5-year strategic roadmaps for digital transformation
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and integrate cutting-edge startups into our innovation pipeline
- Develop ethical frameworks for future technologies, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage a $5M annual innovation budget for experimental technology projects
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record in developing commercialized technologies with 5+ years post-launch impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging fields: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or AGI alignment
- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams across tech, ethics, and business domains
- Prior work with Fortune 500 companies on strategic technology foresight initiatives
- Published research or patents in future-focused technology domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
