Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems)
- Identify paradigm-shifting opportunities through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype futuristic concepts
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption scenarios
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author white papers on the societal impact of 2026+ technologies
- Mentor a team of emerging technology specialists
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in emerging technology, futurism, or strategic foresight
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on innovation strategy
- Fluency in scenario planning and risk modeling methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of futuristic concepts
