Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics) with 3-5 year impact projections
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen digital transformation initiatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-viable solutions (AR/VR integration, decentralized systems)
- Present technology foresight to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Establish cross-industry innovation partnerships with Fortune 500 and academic institutions
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends and ethical implications
- Mentor internal teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains (quantum, bio-convergence, Web3)
- Executive communication skills with C-suite/board experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research on technology adoption curves or innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
