Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological shifts across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year market evolution and competitive positioning
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech insights into corporate planning and product roadmaps
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and media engagements
- Design and implement scenario planning frameworks for disruptive technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' initiatives prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Mentor senior technologists on emerging technology implications and strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Prior experience with scenario planning tools and futures methodology (e.g., Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
- Strong publication record in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
