Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) to develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 market dominance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and competitive threats
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future technology paradigms
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and integrate cutting-edge startups
- Design resilience frameworks for technological black swan events
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor internal innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published reports)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proficient in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
