Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves (2025-2030)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports with strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
- Advose board on emerging tech investments and risks
- Establish ethical frameworks for future technology implementation
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global tech summits and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (examples: Web3, AI ethics)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (papers/whitepapers)
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to market
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
