Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology paradigms (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate-tech)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Architect innovation frameworks integrating blockchain, biotech, and sustainable energy systems
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions with 18-24 month deployment horizons
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparedness
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech research with 5+ years in futurism/forecasting
- Proven expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate-tech innovation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent-tier publications
- Experience building tech roadmaps with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Strong data modeling skills for trend analysis and disruption forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major technological innovation initiatives
