Responsibilities
- Architect 3-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech integration
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems governance
- Present future-tech visions to C-suite executives and venture capitalists at global summits
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- File patents for at least 2 groundbreaking innovations annually
- Produce annual 'State of 2026 Tech' white papers read by industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic foresight or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
