Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR)
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen human-computer interaction systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Partner with product teams to incubate 2026-viable innovations
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab team
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or neuromorphic engineering
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience with agile development in complex tech ecosystems
