Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trajectories (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) to identify 2026-relevant opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops to incubate next-generation solutions
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into current development cycles
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on technological convergence points
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical frameworks impacting 2026 adoption
- Mentor R&D teams in forward-thinking methodologies and speculative prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Published research in emerging tech or future studies (peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI development, synthetic biology, neuromorphic engineering
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
