Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic technology roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and potential roadblocks for 2026 initiatives
- Produce comprehensive futures reports and strategic briefings for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs to scout emerging technologies
- Design and implement KPI frameworks to track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists while fostering a culture of strategic curiosity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with proven experience in long-term visioning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, climate tech, or biotechnology domains
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi methods) and data visualization
- Track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation journals or industry platforms
