Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and validate future scenario models using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Design strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation cycles aligned with emerging technologies
- Facilitate executive workshops translating foresight into actionable business priorities
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms
- Integrate future-proofing principles into product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling frameworks
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Exceptional communication skills for C-suite stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of published future scenario projects or thought leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams
