Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces)
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT, and DARPA for collaborative R&D
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging risks and opportunities in exponential tech
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Author annual "Future State" whitepapers published in IEEE and Nature journals
- Mentor innovation fellows in futures-thinking methodologies and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic planning with Fortune 500 tech companies
- Published research in quantum machine learning or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (Gartner Hype Cycle analysis)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government collaboration
- Fluency in futures forecasting tools (Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong network with academic and industry futurist communities
