Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market impact through 2026
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with company vision and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems
- Produce quarterly foresight reports for executive decision-making
- Identify and vet potential disruptive startups and acquisition targets
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry forums
- Mentor junior innovation strategists on future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategy
