Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging innovations into enterprise ecosystems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to future-proof organizational capabilities
- Present foresight frameworks to investors and board members using data-driven storytelling
- Build cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-era solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence trends
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with quantifiable ROI metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future scenarios
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into executive action plans
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, CFS) strongly preferred
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
