Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, biometric computing)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' forecasting industry shifts and competitive threats
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing into product development lifecycles
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos)
- Mentor junior talent through our 'Future Leaders' incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or unicorns
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies (Harvard Business Review/MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Social Science
- Proficiency in AI forecasting tools (GPT-4, Claude, Anthropic) and data visualization
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
- Fluency in at least two languages beyond English
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-transforming predictions realized
