Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks using AI-driven analytics and human intelligence
- Lead executive workshops to translate foresight into strategic priorities and innovation roadmaps
- Author thought leadership reports and white papers for industry conferences and publications
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate future-focused initiatives and proof-of-concept projects
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and regulatory factors impacting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing horizon-scanning methodologies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and global innovation communities
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi methods, horizon scanning platforms, AI trend analytics)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (required)
