Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological advances, and socio-economic indicators to forecast industry trajectories through 2026
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks identifying emerging threats and opportunities
- Design scenario-planning models for organizational resilience in volatile future environments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future intelligence into product development and business planning
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused methodologies
- Monitor and evaluate predictive accuracy of foresight models through continuous feedback loops
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) strongly preferred
