Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Technologies at the forefront of the quantum revolution. As a 2026 Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design and implement next-gen quantum systems that will redefine computing by 2026. Lead cross-functional teams to transform theoretical quantum principles into scalable commercial applications, solving problems in cryptography, material science, and AI optimization. We offer competitive equity, flexible remote work, and the opportunity to shape humanity's technological future.
Your impact will span industry-defining projects in partnership with MIT, NASA, and global pharmaceutical leaders. Work in our state-of-the-art San Francisco lab equipped with quantum processors cooled to absolute zero.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving NP-hard problems 1000x faster than classical systems
- Lead integration of quantum hardware with cloud infrastructure (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Research and implement quantum error correction codes for 2026-era qubits
- Collaborate with Nobel laureates to push quantum supremacy boundaries
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Quipper, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
