Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures targeting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science simulations
- Architect secure quantum communication networks resistant to decryption
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in cutting-edge cryogenic control systems
- Pioneer quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing hardware or software architectures
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
