Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Develop error-correction protocols for million-qubit systems
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in quantum algorithm design (Nature/Science/IEEE papers preferred)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with $1M+ budgets
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
