Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for quantum computational workflows
- Collaborate with experimental teams to validate theoretical models
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional quantum projects
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware capabilities and limitations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
